My mom and I are going to Guatemala this summer with Fincastle Baptist Church, we have never been on a missions trip together and I'm so excited for the opportunity before I go off to college. We are joining Hope of Life Intentional, to work in the orphanage and hospital there. We are also visiting Bella Vista, a small village FBC adopted in 2014. We've only been going to FBC two years but we are so impressed with all they do, not only locally, but globally. We are ecstatic to join them in their global efforts but need help raising funds.
What better way to do that than to put on an event for the community? Since we moved to Fincastle, we've loved been apart of this historic town. I have loved planning and putting on events since I was very young and two years ago I began putting on annual bonfires for the homeschool community. But this year we've decided to scale it and make it an event open for everyone.
I hope that this will be a fun event for the entire family. It has been my pleasure to put this together and I know you are going to have a blast.
